"HOT" Article in Deep Learning Research

My article on "Threat of Adversarial Attacks on Deep Learning in Computer Vision" was globally rated "HOT" on deeplearn.org for the month of January 2018. It was also the most read work from UWA for the week of 08 - 15 Jan, 2018 on ResearchGate.

NVIDIA GPU Grant

For my current project in Deep Learning Research, a small scale NVIDIA GPU grant was received to boost the research.

Nomination for John Makepeace Bennett Distinguished Dissertation Award.

John Makepeace Bennett Distinguished Dissertation Award is given to the best PhD thesis in Australasia in the field of computing each year. My PhD thesis was nominated for this award by the  of the University of Western Australia.

August, 2015

Extreme Imaging Competition Winner

Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CiSRA) annually organises the Extreme Imaging Competition for research students in Australia and New Zealand. My work on hyperspectral image super-resolution was deemed as the second best in the open category, which considered the works accepted in any top journal or conference in the disciplines of engineering, computer science, the physical sciences, medicine, astronomy or archaeology.

Invited Talk

I was invited to give a talk on "Hyperspectral extreme imaging" at the International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA), 2015, Adelaide. I presented the research conducted at the hyperspectral imaging lab of UWA.
